Aerospace Power Group was born from the union of ArcPower, a company of excellence in the design of power components for space applications, and Neohm Componenti, an established electronic manufacturer based in Italy, with testing and screening capabilities according to ECSS-Q-ST-60-05C.
APG can count on decades of experience in power conditioning design and production for space applications. APG engineers took part in several European Space Agency and commercial space programs. As a result, the production has 20 years of experience in manufacturing of space-qualified hybrids for space applications.
The engineering center is located at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials and Technologies in Dübendorf, Switzerland. The production center is located in Settimo Torinese, Italy, and is ongoing the iter to obtain the Process Capability Approval (PCA) according to ESCC 2566000.
Thanks to a strong design and manufacturer background Aerospace Power Group can offer standard radiation-tolerant hybrid DC/DC converters, export restrictions free, designed and manufactured according to European Space Agency standards. The compact hybrids, dedicated EMI filter design, and in-house customer support will reduce designers’ efforts and improve DC/DC converter board performances.
APG is developing families of export restriction-free standard hybrid DC/DC converters for space application. The Design is done according to ECSS-Q-ST-30-11C and validation according to ECSS-Q-ST-60-05C.
This family of hybrid DC/DC converters have the following features:

APG is developing also a DC/DC converter controller for space application to simplify the design of isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters. The design effort of single and multi-output DC/DC converters will be reduced to designing the main transformer. The output rectifier stage and input and output filters.
