Melexis announces the release of the MLX90822 and MLX90824, a new family of PCB-less pressure sensors.
The newest PCB-less pressure sensors are mainly intended for MAP, TMAP and air management for automotive, truck and motorcycle. They can also be used for all combustion-powered applications, such as boats, chainsaws, mower tractors…
MLX90822: absolute pressure sensor with analog output
MLX90824: absolute pressure sensor with SENT output
The MLX90823 and the MLX90825, relative pressure sensor variants, will be released in Q1-2023.
The following versions will be available and recommended for new designs:
MLX90822GXP-BAA-300-RE (0.1 to 1.15bar absolute pressure / 0.5V to 4.5V analog output)
MLX90822GXP-BAA-304-RE (0.1 to 1.15bar absolute pressure / 0.4V to 4.65V analog output)
MLX90822GXP-BAB-301-RE (0.1 to 3bar absolute pressure / 0.5V to 4.5V analog output)
MLX90822GXP-BAB-302-RE (0.1 to 4bar absolute pressure / 0.5V to 4.5V analog output)
MLX90824GXP-DAC-300-RE (0.1 to 1.15bar absolute pressure / 193 to 3896LSB SENT output / NTC)
MLX90824GXP-DAD-301-RE (0.1 to 3bar absolute pressure / 193 to 3896LSB SENT output / NTC)
MLX90824GXP-DAD-302-RE (0.1 to 4bar absolute pressure / 193 to 3896LSB SENT output / NTC)
Please take note that, due to the current ongoing stock building, Melexis is limiting the number of sample orders for the pre-launch.
However, sample packs (10pcs) are available for pre-ordering as of 17th November, with a limitation of 1 sample pack in the pre-launch phase.
