Dimac Red joins the “Go Green” DHL Program

We are honored to announce our participation in the Go Green DHL program. This initiative allows us to monitor the CO2 emissions of our carriers, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of logistics and transportation activities while maintaining a high level of quality and punctuality in shipments for our Italian and international customers. In fact, this program is compliant with the international GLEC framework and ISO 14083.

With the increase in carbon dioxide emissions projected as one of the greatest environmental and economic challenges of our time, DHL Global Forwarding offers a wide range of eco-friendly logistics services. This includes sustainable alternatives for all modes of transport. In addition, DHL provides Carbon Transparency tools to offer insights into the ecological optimization of companies logistics and to enhance the carbon efficiency of supply chains.

Between January and May 2024, Dimac Red emissions were reduced by 16.6% compared to the same period in the previous year for both of the following metrics:

• Wheel-to-Wheel Emissions: the total emissions from the vehicle’s operation, accounting for energy production and overall efficiency.
• Tank-to-Wheel Emissions: the emissions generated directly from the vehicle’s fuel consumption.

By joining this program, we adopts advanced and globally recognized practices to monitor and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. We are committed to continuously improving our practices to benefit the environment and our clients.
