Intelligent HMI displays in a sophisticated look
The new uniTFTm series from DISPLAY VISIONS offers smart controls all of a piece and in a contemporary design. Thanks to the high-performing development environment, sophisticated applications for monitoring and control as well as for medical devices can be developed in no time.
Ready-to-Run is the trademark of the new uniTFTm series from DISPLAY VISIONS. These smart control units are HMIs (human machine interfaces) that are all of a piece. Brilliant IPS displays are combined with high-performing controllers in a beautifully designed unit. With the touch interface, numerous integrated graphics functions and several interfaces, stand-alone applications are no problem.
The IPS panels used are characterised by exceptionally wide viewing angles. With over 1,000 cd/m² they are also extremely bright. Their presentation also remains sharp and rich in contrast with oblique viewing angles and in bright sunlight. The rapid graphics controller has powerful features. Among other things, any kind of object can be placed and moved as required. Elegant effects for fading in and out or zooming in are also included. All the standard Windows character sets can be integrated and scaled infinitely. With the automatic ASCII and Unicode switching, a wide range of systems, including Chinese characters, is also supported. Stylesheets ensure a consistent design. Images are integrated as JPEGs, transparent PNGs or SVGs. Together with the integrated time base, events can be documented together with a time stamp or processes can be controlled on a completely autonomous basis. With the free-of-charge uniTFTDesigner development platform, impressive applications can be achieved in no time under Windows, including without in-depth programming knowledge. The powerful WYSIWYG tool also includes a simulator, debugger, instrument- and clock editor as well as a terminal.
In addition to a USB-C port, SPI, I²C and RS-232 are also available as interfaces. Eight digital inputs/outputs (expandable to 136) and four analogue inputs transmit measurement and control signals.
The powerful control units are currently available in eight sizes: As SMART HMI in 1.5, 2, 2.8, 3.5 and 4.3 inches. As a high-end HMI in 5, 7 and 10.1 inches. All displays are equipped with projected capacitive touch surfaces (PCAP). This means gestures with several fingers are also possible on a durable and wipeable glass surface. DISPLAY VISIONS also offers a variety of starter sets for rapid success on various topics, such as air quality measurement, voltmeters, relay control and much more. The manufacturer’s multilingual team of experts is also immediately available to support its customers, drawing on several decades of experience.
