AUTRONIC HIGH-PERFORMANCE 100 W DC/DC CONVERTER ACCORDING TO EMV06 V2
AUTRONIC completes the family of transportation DC/DC converters with ul-tra-wide input range with the HFC100-W/T. The brand new converter with 100 Watt output power offers an input range from 14.4 VDC to 154 VDC. Thus sets new standards in its class. In a compact design, it fulfills requirements for use in railroad technology according to EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 and EMV06 Rangierfunk V2.
The plug-and-play solution with impressive efficiency of up to 90% facilitates the design-in. It meets the railway-specific EMC requirements without additional filtering. Conducted or radiated emission are in compliance with Class B and the EMV06 V2. Other features are active inrush current limiting, active reverse polarity protection (up to 160 V) and protection against over-voltage, overtemperature and overcurrent, integrated is a hold up time of 10 ms.
Technicians can operate up to three converters in parallel. Additionally, the devices have no-load protection and there is no requirement for a minimum load.
Two LEDs (for input and output) indicate whether a voltage is present, or the output is active. An enable signal can switch on and off the HFC100.
All European input voltages from 24 V to 110 Vnom are covered by a single converter, simplifying design-in and thus approvals of customer applications. The galvanically isolated and protective coated (Class PC2) HFC100 was developed according to temperature class OT4 ST1 and ST2. In conclusion, to shock/vibration according to EN 61373 (1B), the device meets the fire protection according to EN 45545-2 HL3.
Available versions are for DIN rail and open frame for chassis mounting with 24 V output.
